I was planning my fiance's surprise birthday party and also planning a trip out of the country. Needless to say with time running short I started to think about what if I could use an event coordinator. Having never used one before I found myself looking on Yelp at different reviews. My event was an intimate dinner with about 16 people. Again having never used a coordinator before, I was a little intimidated to see that 99% of the reviews were all about weddings.
Veronica at Type A Soirée happened to be the first company I called. I left a message for her as it was approaching a late hour about 6 o'clock for her to call me as soon as she could. I made a few other phone calls leaving messages at each, when Veronica call me a few minutes later. She actually took the time to explain to me what a coordinator does and how she could help.
After spending about 20 minutes on the phone with her I quickly came to realize I needed someone like her back in the states to handle all the details. It was the best investment I have made. By the way, I'm still waiting for the other company to call me back.
Veronica took care of every last detail including finding the venue that could accommodate a singer. Coordinating with a specific singer that I wanted to be at the party, whom she never done business with before. She also ordered red velvet cupcakes, which our venue couldn't do, ensured that punk gerbera daisies were part of the centerpieces, she had tablecloths laid out, real candles lit all around the room, she stayed on site and took photos and on and on and on. Quite frankly Veronica handled everything right up to the very end and beyond.
So don't think your event is too small or too big Veronica did an awesome job and the next party I have she will absolutely be a part of it. My fiance is type A, I am more type B, give me big picture not minutiae and she was over the moon about the party and really impressed, as was I."

"Veronica and her team are absolutely incredible, and I would give them 10/5 stars if I possibly could!! Veronica helped to create my dream wedding, and there is genuinely nothing I would have changed. She made the entire process as stress free as possible, and included me, my fiancé, and both of our families in the process.
Not only is Veronica on top of everything and regularly sending reminders, she was also so kind and personable and made a lot of wedding planning just feel like hanging out with a friend who wanted to make your vision come alive! Our venue had strict rules about things we could bring in (i.e. tablecloths, glassware, etc.), but Veronica fought for those small special details that made our day that much more special. I had a lot of lofty ideas and visions for I how wanted my day to look and Veronica surpassed what I thought was possible!!
On the day of the wedding, everything flowed so smoothly, and her team made me and my fiancé feel so calm and so taken care of all day. Our wedding was not easy to plan as we wanted both a beach wedding and a classy downtown wedding. So we did a beach ceremony and reception at US Grant with buses for our guests.
